Woke up on my own, wasn’t awakened. Slept well, mood is good. Morning exercises we do right in bed, followed by massage. Then a meeting with journalists. After that, a phone call with Air Force Commander-in-Chief Kutakhov, who congratulated me on the second Hero Star. Tolya was awarded second-class pilot-cosmonaut status, and mine is still unknown. After lunch I slept and worked with the methodologists on the report. Gave our station instructor Nikolai Chuklov the watch that was with me during the flight as a gift. Talked with Lyusya and Vitalik. I feel fine. My legs ache — the front of the shin near the bone — so walking is still difficult, but I enjoy the walks. Recovery is going well. Today there was a funny incident — I was napping after lunch in a special suit with an electric stimulator. Maria Fyodorovna came about two hours later to wake me for gymnastics. I was lying on my side, turned, and accidentally twisted two potentiometer knobs with my right hand. The electric shock contorted me so badly that I howled through the entire floor in pain, and the worst part was that, half-asleep, I couldn’t figure out what was happening. Only when I came to my senses did I switch off the power. The weather has been sunny. It’s 2 AM now; I’m going to sleep. A fox and two fox cubs have settled on the site.
